Shirley Ann (Tracy) Rouse
76, of Camby, passed away on November 19, 2018 at Methodist Hospital. Shirley was born on July 24, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Louis A. Tracy and Iva F. (Newlin) Tracy.
After graduating from Ben Davis high school in 1961, Shirley worked as a switchboard operator for AT&T, later taught at Voice of Faith Christian Church School and most recently at Nice Pak in Mooresville.
Always strong in her faith, she was active in weekly Bible Study and enjoyed sharing her faith with others. Additionally, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially having a monthly dinner with her siblings at Gray Brothers Cafeteria as well as spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed!
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; John E. Rouse, siblings; Mary Martha Tracy, Bert L. Tracy and Elfrieda M. Cooney.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Jacqueline S. Zumwalt, Tabitha S. Wylie, Aaron L. Rouse, siblings; Thomas E. Tracy, William L. Tracy, Bonnie L. Pierce, grandchildren; Sam W. Smith, Katherine N. Gilliam, Megan R. Wylie, Oliver W. Wylie, Allen E. Rouse, Simon L. Rouse, Sadie F. Rouse, Haylee N. Rouse, Oriana Rouse and a great grandson; Leonard Gilliam.
Visitation will be held Monday from 10am-12pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with funeral services Monday at 12noon in the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
