Stephen Hartzburgh

December 8, 1944 ~ September 13, 2022
Stephen Hartzburgh
77, of Mooresville, passed away on 9/13/2022 due to a debilitating disease. Just as he dealt with all experiences in life Steve managed his illness with strength and grace the best he could. On his final day, he was with his daughter and passed peacefully.
Steve was a Cosmetologist his entire life and was very well known in his community. Besides Steve’s family, his passion was planning/going on vacations. He was also very active in the current church he was attending whether it was as an Elder a choir member, a youth group leader, or sitting on the board. He was a member of the Indianapolis Men’s Choir. He was a boy scout, and past President of the Indiana Hairdressers Association IHA- He will be sadly missed by his Tuesday Miller’s Merry Manor Bingo group and the rest of the Manor Family. His Monday night dinner club and Life’s Journey Family will surely miss him. Kindness, Confidence, and Sense of humor are how his beloved family will remember him.
Stephen is survived by his daughter; Nena (Dean) Brock, mother; Dixie Mayberry, grandchildren; Heather (Darren) Walters and Clint (Sara) Brock, great-grandchildren; Makaela, Colton, Kelsey, Ryleigh and Kaiden, siblings; Dianna (Gary) Grindean, Christopher Hartsburg and Gaylord Hartsburg.
Stephen is preceded in death by his loving grandmother; Mary Oniones, father; DeWayne Hartsburg, brother; DeWayne "Bub" Hartsburg and stepfather; James Mayberry.
A Memorial Gathering will take place at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 11:00 am-1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hall.
