Sylvia Ann (Privett) Heleine
92 of Mooresville, passed away peacefully in her home on September 6, 2024 surrounded by family after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Sylvia was born on July 27, 1932 in Poinsett County, Arkansas to the late William Wesley Privett and Beulah (Henderson) Privett- Drum (Roy Drum).
Sylvia was a proud homemaker and was a beloved hostess at Taco Bell in Mooresville in her later years. She was a faithful member of the Gasburg Baptist Church in Monrovia, where she was active in bible study groups. She enjoyed quilting, walks, puzzles, gardening, and took great joy in anything that would make others smile. A role model of resilience, she will be remembered for her loving, friendly and tenacious personality and fierce love for her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather Roy Manley Drum; her husband Bernie Duane Heleine; siblings Roy Lee Drum, Earlene Hellenbeck, Loretta Manhart, Fleta Joyce Heleine, and a son-in-law Roger Rincker.
She is survived by her daughters Connie Dishman (Bud), Anita Rincker (Roger); sister Daisy Bloodworth; granddaughter Meghan Kinnan (Mike), and a great granddaughter Riley Kinnan. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Sylvia’s life on Tuesday, September 10th from 3-5pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with services beginning at 5pm in the funeral home. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, September 11th at 11am (CDT) in Harrison Cemetery, in West Union, Illinois.
