Tammy Renee Minardo, 51, of Martinsville, unexpectedly departed from this world on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at her home. She was born in Akron, Ohio on April 30, 1975 to Michael David Tracy and Deborah Gail (Woodroof) Tracy. She was a devoted mother, cherished daughter, treasured Mimi, and beloved sister whose radiant spirit will be profoundly missed.

Tammy’s life revolved around her family. As a mother, she found unparalleled joy in her three children, Zachary, Christopher, and Courtney, and her heart swelled with love for her grandchildren. Tammy instilled in them the values of kindness and generosity, always offering a listening ear and words of encouragement. She had a big heart that welcomed all and was known for her genuine kindness.

Tammy graduated from Lawrence Central High School with the class of 1993. Tammy worked as a bank teller for several banks and as a Head Start preschool teacher at the Mooresville Head Start, where her warm smile and compassionate nature left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.

During her younger years, Tammy was a Girl Scout and fondly reminisced about the family bowling nights. Her love for life included cheering passionately for her favorite teams, particularly the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Cleveland Browns. Additionally, she was an avid fan of the TV show, Big Brother. She often shared her enthusiasm for college football and Big Brother, which sparked countless joyous conversations and gatherings with family and friends.

She will be missed and remembered fondly by many including her partner, David Minardo of Martinsville; sons, Zachary (wife, McKinzee) Minardo of Franklin and Christopher Minardo of Martinsville; daughter, Courtney Minardo of Indianapolis; parents, Mike and Debbie Tracy of Greenfield; sister, Adrian Tracy (fiance, Jon) of New Palestine; and grandchildren, Sophia, Emmanuel, Mateo, Lylah, and Miller.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, August 24th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Tammy’s Life Celebration Service® will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 25th at the funeral home with an hour of visiting prior. She will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.

  3. Tammy, you were one of my first best friends and my cousin. From the time I was a toddler, you were in my first memories. We grew up close to each other. And after you moved, it was very sad for me. But, I looked forward to your visits. My heart is SHATTERED that you are gone! You left us WAY too soon. You had so much more to offer this life and those around you. You will NEVER be forgotten!
