Teresa Lee Davisson, 67, of Greenwood, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed at her home on Monday, April 20, 2026 with family at her side. Born on October 9, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Teresa was a wonderful spirit who brought light and joy to everyone around her.

Teresa graduated from Mooresville High School with the class of 1977 and worked as an Imaging Support Specialist at Imaging Center Community South Campus, where her dedication and warmth made a lasting impression on her colleagues and patients alike.

She was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She loved curling up with a good book or getting lost in her favorite TV shows. An avid gardener, she found peace and pleasure in her yard, nurturing her flowers and caring for her beloved Yorkies, who were her constant companions that brought her endless joy.

Teresa cherished the time spent vacationing with her parents, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Her love for her family was evident in every interaction, and she will be profoundly missed by her mother, Shirley Davisson of Greenwood; sisters, Diana (Danny) Williams of Mooresville and Donna (Odie) Sturgeon of Moore, Oklahoma; brother, Michael (wife, Skye) Davisson of Pittsboro, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Lee Davisson.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, April 25th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Teresa’s Life Celebration Memorial Service will immediately follow beginning at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Teresa’s earthly remains have been cremated.

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with all who knew and loved Teresa. Her laugh and smiles were always so contagious. Thankful for the years I got to work with her and talk about the Steelers. She will truly be missed by all.

  4. I remember high school mornings standing in our little group. Me, Karen, Kathy, Teresa, and Donna waiting for the first bell to start our day. We’d talk about the episodes of tv programs we followed, after school events we would be attending and it was the best part of the day. Teresa and I had Bookeeping together with Mr.Ash. Sending prayers and condolences to her family. Heaven is definitely getting a sweet angel. Rest easy my friend.

  8. I will miss Teresa dearly. She had an infectious laugh that brought so much joy. I always looked forward to our time together, especially hearing her share the latest movies and shows she had been enjoying during her evenings. She will be fondly remembered.

  9. My dear sister, Teresa, what can I say. You will be greatly missed. You touched so many people. We had your service yesterday and so many showed up to show their love for you and to support your family.
    I will miss sending you your morning text that I hoped would bring you some joy and love. We shared our love for movies and tv shows. I will miss not having anyone to talk to about them. You were a blessing to me and it was wonderful having you as my baby sister
    We were an awful lot alike and we were both stubborn and wanted it our way. We had our disagreements but we had love for each other.
    I wish I could have hugged you one last time. I hope you know how much I loved you.
    My husband called you. Munchkin. He love you and enjoyed talking football with you. We will keep cheering for your Steelers, of course after the Buccaneers.
