  3. Kathy Rich, you were the only member of Tom’s family I had the pleasure to meet. He and I had many friends in common in Eminence thru the Hardware store. This must hurt more than I can imagine. Please know many friends here are saddened and many friends in heaven will be joyful to see Tom. Bill and Jane Black.

  4. Tommy in my “little” brother who left us much too soon. He deeply loved our mother, his late wife Sheryl, daughter Ashley and his fiance Gay who loved and cared for Tom during his greatest needs and health battles. Tommy was kind, generous and would give the shirt off his back. I will miss you Tommy boy!! The “hugs” and “I Love You’s”. I Love you Tommy…Your big sister Kathy

  5. Sad to hear of Tom’s passing. We shared good times with youth basketball. Jane and I extend our sympathy to Tom’s family.

  6. I went to Plainfield High School with Tom and worked with him at Truck & Bus. Was always a good guy to be around. Prayers for peace and comfort for all family and friends. RIP Tom, another gone too soon.

  7. We are going to miss you Tom. You have always been a great guy to all of us including my Mom. Thank you for loving and taking care of my Mom. I know she is missing you so much right now. I know you loved us all very much. I will never forget the times we had including us on our walkers together when Mom drove you to Monrovia to the barber shop. What a trip huh! Both of us was down at the same time. Oh and another one I never let you forget was when we went to McDonalds and you ordered a large Frappie (yes you said it just like it is spelled here) I lost it! LOL I will miss hearing you say ” you’re so pretty and I love you like my Daughter!” I know you are up there in heaven with all those cattle because you are a farm boy. We will never forget you Tom, forever in our hearts ❤ and our memory!

  8. Rest in Heaven Dad with your loving wife (Sheryl). Love, Ashley (daughter) and grandkids Ellie & Paisley.

  9. Had the pleasure of having Tom as our neighbor. Our Shasta drive neighborhood will never be the same. We will all greatly miss our loving Farmboy, all his stories, his morning waves as we left to work and his music outside ❤

  10. I met Tom through my son and brother some years back. He was a very loving man with big blue eyes and always had a hug for everybody. I know he was never the same after loosing his beloved wife. He never stopped talking about Ashley and his granddaughters and missed them terribly. He shared so many memories of Ashley and their cattle. My granddaughter and I passed their home off 142 on Thanksgiving and she said, “I miss Tom, he was funny.” I found out the next morning he had passed. He was too young and left this world way too soon. Rest in peace my friend and now you can once again hold your beloved wife in your arms. I will never forget you!

  11. My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Cherry. I had the privilege of working with him as a nurse through BCBSM. He was a little “grumpy” at first, but he came around 🙂 My prayer for you all is for peace and understanding during this time of grief. Patients like Mr. Cherry are why I am a nurse. God Bless you all. Michelle Tysinger, RN BCBSM Health Guide

  12. Sorry I’m late in finding out Tom passed, I worked with him at General Motors, very good Machine Repairman. Taught me a lot.
