Thomas Ray Manning

Thomas Ray Manning, 57, Monrovia, died July 25, 2013. Mr. Manning was born March 24, 1956, in Troy, Ohio, to the late Ray Manning and Virginia (Miller) Hoover, who survives.

He graduated from Troy High School. Since 2009, Tom has been employed as the general manager of the Mooresville McDonalds. Prior to, he was with the Indy Region for Pilot Stores. He enjoyed staying physically fit by bicycling and working out at Core Fitness Club in Mooresville. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Ronda (Ray) Manning; children, Chapin, Madison, and Maxwell Manning; mother, Virginia Hoover; granddaughter, Jaida Cowan; brothers, Michael and David Manning; sister, Sue Phyllis.

The memorial service will begin at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, in Life Builder Church, 637 East Washington Street, Greencastle. Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Just wanted the family of Tom Manning to know how special he was to the employees of McDonald’s in Mooresville-he gave lots of young people a chance to learn to work a job, including my two daughters who can attest to the fact that he was a fair, honest man, a good mentor, teacher, and a kind manager who touched more lives than what you may ever know!
