Tina Tinsley Vanhook, 36, Mooresville, died May 27, 2011. Tina was born September 12, 1974, in Danville, Indiana.
Tina was a 1993 graduate of Casey County High School in Liberty, Kentucky. She recently graduated from Empire Beauty College. Tina enjoyed going to concerts, modeling, and doing make-up.
Tina was preceded in death by mother, Sally (Day) Dolan.
Survivors include her children, Trenton Vanhook of Mooresville and Darion Vanhook of Mooresville; father, Buddy Tinsley of Kentucky, sisters, Amy Johnson of Mooresville, Tammy Scott of Mooresville, Lakita Johnson of Kentucky; brother, Joe Wiley of Mooresville; fianc, Tom Welch of Camby; adopted parents, L.C. and Barbara Johnson of Kentucky; a host of loving, extended family.
Funeral services were held privately on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Burial was in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. Tina and i were really close friends in school whom i will really miss alot. Hadn’t talked to her for awhile my bad. my prayers goes out to the family and children. she was a big hearted person whom cared about others. Tina was one of coolest girls I ever known, we grew up together she was a dear friend, and deeply miss her. Just doesn’t seem like that long ago we get on school bus together. Miss you “wild child” David
