Todd Jerry Patterson
55, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 25, 2019 at home after a short courageous battle with cancer. Todd was born on October 27, 1964 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Dora Lawrence Patterson and Edna Louise (Smith) Patterson.
Todd worked in commercial fence for many years and for various companies, most recently with Capital City Fence. He was a family man, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, often enjoying a few beers or a glass of wine. His family considered him a beer and wine connoisseur. He also enjoyed working in his yard doing landscaping, painting and crafts of all kinds.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Mark Patterson; a sister Brenda Louise Brinegar and a half sister Marilynne Devito.
He is survived by his fiancé (and better half) Kimberly Hodge; children Ashland Zweck, Carrissa Clark; sister Katt Patterson; brother Douglas Kirk Patterson; nieces Michelle Corbett, Jessica Patterson, Leea Devito; nephews Mark Patterson II, Dalton Patterson, Michael Devito; great niece Aria Bailey Moore; grandchildren Maryah Shields and Able Clark.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Todd’s life will be held Saturday Nov. 30th from 2-3pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Graveside services will be held immediately following the gathering at Bethesda Cemetery in Mooresville, Saturday at 3:30pm.

Todd was such a great guy and friend. I have known him almost all my life. I haven’t seen him much lately but he will always be in my heart. the times we had me and him and brother Mark. Richard Pagett and Pat mcdermott so many memories. if you knew him you loved him. I will never forget him !!!!!!! luv ya bro Godspeed !

I remember all the times you we’re around with my family Mary, Pat & Michael McDermott. Those was the good days. It’s so sad that so many of us don’t keep in better touch. I remember best when we all went to school #62. I hope you are with Mary & Michael reconnecting. You will be truely missed gone much to soon Mary & Michael both dies of cancer too GOD Bless you my friend Theresa McDermott
Brother Todd you was a strong will an strong mind you left us your way,you definitely will be missed in so many ways ,but I know when you raised your arm an hand high brother Mark an others was there you was telling us goodbye an waving to them ,you have made me even stronger in life an memory
There are so many good times together to name but the one that sticks out is when we all went to indiana beach. You and mark in your skibbys trying to get a tan. RIP my life long friend. Give your brother a big hug for me. Rest Easy man!
