Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. When we worked at McDonald’s we’d would get off work at night and go running around. Sometimes we’d run down to the truck stop and eat and hang out wth other coworkers. We nicknamed ourselves Jake and Ellwood, loved running around in his red pickup, wearing our cowboy hats….. you’ll be missed my ol friend. Thank you for all the great memories we made together.

  2. Vance and I used to work at McDonalds together. We would work the grill together. We had a lot of fun with our coworkers after we left for the night. Of course after time we all went our separate ways. Many years passed, and we were able to reconnect thru Facebook. I am glad we were able to reconnect after all this time. I will miss you friend. Rest in Peace.

  3. We are so sorry to hear this we just found out last night. Was unable to attend the viewing. Vance visited our church a few times with his mother and father. He was a very caring person. The Rooker’s have known the smith family all there life. Got great memories. Prayers for the family. Bill &Joyce Rooker

  4. So sorry to hear Vance has passed away. I continually counted on his patience and smile when helping me at the library! No matter what type of silly mistake I was making at the computer or the copier, he’d kindly get up to come help me! I’m going to miss him there at the library! He always greeted Isaak, my 6 year old grandson, with a how are you today? I never forget kindness, and Vance showed that character trait each time I saw him. God bless him and his family.

  5. My thoughts are prayers are with the family and friends of Vance. I remember Vance from his high school and McDonald’s years. His smile was infectious and he always knew what to say to brighten my day. Fly high Vance.
