Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Virginia was a good friend and neighbor. About 30 years ago, she had a yard sale, I can’t remember now for which organization, she really like my no bake cookies and asked me to make some to sell. They went over so well I ran out of everything and she had to run to the store to get more supplies. I will miss her heart felt laugh. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers. Carl and Patty Greene and family.

  2. Mrs. Jett influenced many of our lives…she was a great teacher and person. Proud to have known her.

  3. Your family has my condolences in this difficult time. May you find comfort in our promise for Virginia at Rev. 21:4.

  4. ‘Will be missed, she was a great friend.’ Thanks for the memories. Her family is in our prayers. Bill & Phyllis Jaggers Williams and family.

  5. She was my 5th and 6th grade teacher at Monorvia. I loved her! She was really special, and to a 6th grader she was just downright ‘drop dead’ beautiful. She will be missed by many, but we are just so thankful that God allowed us to share her for so many years.

  6. Aunt Virginia had a character that was beyond reproach. She always thought of the well-being of others before herself. She gave countless dedicated hours of education to young people to insure a bright future for them. She was always there when the family was in need. We were all of her children. We will miss her signature laugh, humor and wisdom. In addition, we promise never to use the word ‘ ain’t ‘ and ‘can’t ‘ since these words were never in her vocabulary. With love and devotion, Delbert, Nancy, Katie and Lonnie Teeters Mike, Laura(Teeters), Curt, Eric, Lee, Krista, Becca Beaman Rob, Virginia(Teeters), Hannah and Levi Bays

  7. Katie, I was one of those whose lives she touched. I just recently learned of her passing. Education was important to her and she instilled that in me and countless others. She will be missed.

  8. Virginia was my most valued neighbor. My family moved to Monrovia over 16 yrs ago. I loved going and talking to her from time to time. She always had something to share. My favorite memories of her was on Halloween. She always had a table of snacks and a story to tell. She will be missed dearly! Rebecca Sermersheim

  9. She was my homeroom teacher in 5th grade (1975). She was strict in the manner in which she taught. I was intimidated by her in a small way. I guess it was due in part from the respect I had for her.
