Mrs. Baugh was my 3rd grade teacher at Chapelwood Elementary during the 1980s. It was a tumultuous year for us both: her husband had recently died, and my parents were getting divorced. She has long been one of my favorite teachers, a truly caring woman I respect and admire greatly. I’m sad to have just now discovered that she had passed away last fall. I’d have come to her funeral if I’d have known. She is loved and will always be fondly remembered and missed.
