W. Maxine Ford

W. Maxine (Elliott) Ford, 86, Mooresville, passed away September 12, 2021. Mrs. Ford was born October 29, 1934, in Indianapolis, to the late Daniel and Estelle (Burgess) Elliott. Maxine married Donald “Jack” Ford on April 20, 1957, and he preceded her in death in 1991.

She was a good cook, as long as you like things well done, as the family remembered. Maxine will be fondly remembered by her loving family for her kindness, her beauty, and her heart of gold.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Elliott.

Survivors include her children, Tamara S. (Pete Payton) Ford of Camby, Tonya A. (Doug) Weddle of Mooresville, Terri M. (Gary) Priest of Mooresville, and Troy D. (Shelly) Ford of Kentucky; sister, Saundra S. (Bill) Morris of Greenwood; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
