Wanda L. Grubb

Wanda L. Grubb, 71, longtime Mooresville resident passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Wanda was born November 28, 1950, in Indianapolis, to the late William and Doris (Woodruff) Brown. Wanda married the late Warren Guyer Grubb, Jr. on September 16, 1972, and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2013.
Wanda graduated with the class of 1969 from Mooresville High School. She attended cosmetology school and also earned an associate degree from Indiana Business College. She worked periodically throughout the years as a beautician and a telephone operator but was primarily a proud homemaker and stay-at-home mom. Wanda loved to stay involved with her friends, making plans to go shopping and out to eat regularly. Her what you see is what you get spirit made Wanda a very likable soul. She always made her grandchildren a top priority and could often be found cheering them on at their various events and competitions. She was an avid Cubs fan and always cheered for Tony Stewart during NASCAR races. Wanda will be fondly remembered by her loving family and many friends.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Anthony) Boyd and Gary (Tracey) Grubb; sisters, Becky Brown and Cathy Hubbard; grandchildren, Maddison and McKenzie Boyd; Shelby (Travis) Archer, Kacey Merrifield, Jasmyn, Jordyn, and Jacob Grubb.
Wanda’s Life Celebration® Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2022, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the funeral home.
