Guestbook

  1. Had lots of fun playing at the farm, being chased by the goat, lots of good times at all the family reunions and at Echo Lake fishing and cooking out. Rest in Peace Cousin

  2. Thinking of you Jackie and Heather , So sorry to hear of you Dad’s passing. Love to you both Aunt Juanita

  3. I can’t remember when Brittany was first born her uncle Bill would hold her and feed her rock her to sleep, then when she got to be about 15 months old she was so scared of him and cried every time he came near her. I don’t think she grew out of that until she was about seven.

  4. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Jackie and Heather Smith and family. May God give you peace during this most difficult time.

  5. Oh where do I begin… you have been in my life since I was 3. You married my mom and took on 3 extra responsibilities… you have taught me so much.. you taught me how to drive (mom was scared to death to let me drive so I had to wait until I was 18 to get my license and only went out driving with you) our Friday night family card night was always so much fun. I remember the night I went to Nathan’s 21st birthday party and told you I was with Jess and you guys showed up at the party and I was drunk as hell and you tried to make us think we were getting busted by the police. The car ride back home I will never forget. You would bend over backwards for your grandchildren. They loved you dearly and are definitely going to miss you! Aliyah said her favorite memory with you is all the times you and her rode on the golf cart. She also Mentioned the time when you let her younger cousin drive the golf cart and she wrecked and broke her wrist. Elijah said his favorite memory is helping you pick green beans, cutting the grass with you, riding the gulf cart. All the times he came over to spend the night and you guys would go swimming. When you and him would take the scrap metal in and they would always have him step up and add his weight and got extra money (this was something they would do together ever since he was little) So many memories but I wish we could of made More! We love you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

  6. Bill and I were classmates, Mooresville class of 69. We both worked at Kroger after high school on the night stockcrew. The store closed at night back then so we did a lot of things we probably should not have. But it was fun. We rode many miles on motorcycles all over the state. He was a good coworker and better friend.RIP Bill.

  8. I always loved going to my Grandma Pauline Farmer’s home on Spring Lake. A lot of days we’d go down to Aunt Pat and Uncle Jack’s house and Billy (somehow he never outgrew that name to me!) helped me ride those mean ponies of theirs. So loved spending that time with Bill, Terry and Kevin. Gone too soon! Suzanne

  9. As most people know, Bill came into some of our lives 29/30 years ago when he married my mom(Sherry). We then had two step sisters Jackie and “Big” Heather. Bill has always been there for us all. He was there to hold me down when I was 6 years old and had to get stitches from a skateboard accident. Bill taught me all about tools, building everything and driving. Having zero patience for some other drivers on the road came with it. Bill was there with open arms when our dad passed away. Same thing when I lost three classmates my senior year. He showed me how to drive a zero turn mover which I wrecked into the corner of Gran and Papas house damaging the siding and down spout. He didn’t give up after that he just showed me what to correct so I wouldn’t hit anything else. He was there the first time I came home after being out all night with friends drinking and blaming the hangover to my mom as food poison, he knew lol, Big Heather and Brandon were there for that night also lol. He was there when all 19 of his grandkids were born and also there to get on to them after running and yelling in the house on family night. He was there for his grandkids sports, gymnastics, school activities, etc. He loved to show the grandkids how to garden. He was there everyday after we lost our house to a fire to gut it and tear it down no matter how tired he was from working on it the day before. If you ever needed him to help you with something or had questions he was always there. He was an incredible step dad with a big heart. He will be missed by all but never forgotten

  10. A man dosen’t acquire many great friends in his lifetime, and I lost one today. Bill was born hours before I was and for years it has been a running joke that he was “the old man”. On his birthday I would call or text him and give him the business and the next day he would do the same to me. In his final hours he made sure that I knew he was crossing the finish line first and he beat me and won. Linda and I will deeply miss him. May he “REST IN PEACE”
