I’m so sorry to hear this. Headed to Eddyville today and was just thinking of him. Prayers for comfort for you all. 🙁
Sandy and Darlene, I was so sorry to hear about Bill passing. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers
To Jan, Steve, Beth, Tim and their families , may you be comforted in all the wonderful memories of Bill and the love he gave to each of you. I will remember Bill as a good friend and a very generous person. Memories of the times Bill and Jan and Glenn and I went to Frank and Mary’s for catfish dinners. Memories of Bill and Glenn working together building houses. I am so sad to hear of Bill’s passing, but happy having known him and to have the wonderful memories. I will miss him. Carol Woolard
Living at Lake Edgewood brought my family and The Swinney’s together. It was the nickname, Cream Puff, that I gave to Bill that keeps a smile on my face. The stories he told, watching movies and eating popcorn, cracking and eating crab legs, canoe trips and his grumbles are just some of my fondness memories. Although “Cream Puff” will not physically be with us, his spirit will live on. Jan, Steve, Beth & Tim, you are in my prayers. As angels surround this family giving comfort, I hope it’s a reminder of the power of faith, family and love. ~ Lisa Schott Trusty
After moving to Mooresville in 1991, Bill was one of the first I met. A group of us would meet for lunch every Friday at Pizza Hut in Mooresville when it was across the street from the Village Shopping Center. We were known as the Friday Lunch Bunch. Bill was always so much fun to be around. He was very generous and a very kind individual. His laugh was infectious. He will be missed. Prayers of comfort, peace and joy are with the family.
