William Long

William Long, 91, passed away on March 27th. William was born October 13th, 1930, to Hubert and Jenny (Hornsby) Long in Rose Hill, Virginia.

William worked for Earl Chevrolet for many years as an auto-detailer however he lived for the outdoors. An avid fisherman, dedicated camper, and master gardener, William’s passion to be outside could not be denied. A reserved and easy going individual, William loved his family most of all.

William is survived by his wife Janette Long (Castille), sons Charles (Brenda), Terry, and William (Patricia) Long; daughter Julia Harding; grandchildren Bradford Long, Jesse Long, Christopher Ipox, Nathaniel Ferguson, Casey Long, Courtney Long, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

No formal services are being observed at this time.
