I haven’t seen Russell since our days of growing up together in the west end of Collinsville, but sorry to learn of his passing. Our best wishes go to his family, especially his sisters whom we see around town on occasion.
WE HAVE NOT SEEN RUSS IN 35 YEARS.HE WAS A GROOMSMAN IN OUR WEDDING ALMOST 48 YEARS AGO.RUSS AND I SERVED TOGETHER IN THE FEDERAL RESERVES IN THE EARLY 60’S AS SARGENTS.RUSS WAS NOT IN THE NATIONAL GUARD,BUT THE FEDERAL RESERVE. HE WAS ONE OF THE GOOD GUY
I am assuming that Russ was my classmate at Collinsville, class of ’54’. I believe we visited at our 50th reunion in 2004. Sorry to hear of his passing. I remember his sense of humor. Best wishes to his family.
