Theo R. Duncan, 67, Indianapolis, died suddenly July 23, 2013, in IU West Hospital, Avon. Mr. Duncan was born March 27, 1946, in Monticello, Kentucky, to the late Irvin and Rebecca (Meadows) Duncan.
Theo graduated from Monticello High School and was a self-employed construction worker through the years. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and riding four wheelers.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Cleo and another brother, Ronald.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Mullis) Duncan; sons, Scott, Rodney, and Keith Duncan, all of Kentucky; daughter, Rebecca Duncan of Indianapolis; step-son, Steven White of Indianapolis; step-daughters, Cindy Stull of Florida, Pam Lewis of Florida, and Tracy Vinson of Indianapolis; brother, Lawrence Duncan of Columbus; sister, Delta; 19 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Pastor Mark Wright will officiate the 10 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Springhill Christian Center, 12150 N. Rooker Road, Mooresville. Calling hours will not be observed. Burial will take place in Monticello, Kentucky. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Hi Daddy…. Your birthday is almost here and I’d like to make a trip down to the farm and visit. As you know I’m having to do dialasys now so that is gonna make it a lil harder to take trips but I’m gonna try n get there. I love n miss you soooooo much Daddy. Still can’t believe that I u r gone. I know ur up there dancing with momma like u guys used to do. Keep her safe and happy and know that your baby girl loves u and still needs u watching over her. RIHP DADDY….LOVE U
My Daddy was Always there for me no matter what. He didn’t always approve of the choices I made but he never turned his back on me. It was that unconditional love he gave me that makes me grateful to have had him for my father. I LOVE AND MISS YOU DADDY…RIHP WITH THE ANGELS…
